Achievements and Experience

DATA SCIENTIST

October 2021 - Present

I use analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets. I know and use Python, Machine Learning, R, SQL, and Google and Microsoft programs. Samples of my work can be found in my portfolio.

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

July 2020 - Present

I taught a self contained special education classroom and managed and trained a team to work with students with mild to moderate disabilities. I was able to look at former data, collect new data, put that data in a usable formate and use it to drive changes that needed to be made in student's IEPs and in our classroom. I also created assessments and materials to help measure where my students were and to help them make growth in the areas they had goals.

ELEMENTARY TEACHER

September 2016 - June 2020

I have taught Kindergarten, First-Grade, & Second-Grade over a four year span. While teaching I helped create curriculum maps, formative assessments aligned with state standards, manage my time & students, collaborate with teams, & I was part of a team that collaborated and made data driven changes on the Idaho Reading Indicator assessment. I ran a data driven classroom and created programs to help me utilize my data to better help my students.

BYU-IDAHO HVAC SECRETARY

August 2015 - August 2016

In this position I was in charge of tracking maintenance done on buildings and creating schedules for technicians. I also had the responsibility of collecting all receipts and filing monthly financial reports. On top of answering phone calls and informing the supervisor of up coming meetings I also gathered data from the turbine on the facility to track input and output in Excel for the engineers to make needed adjustments.
